MSCA PhD program on chromatin & genetic diseases

MSCA PhD program on chromatin & genetic diseases
I am reaching out to announce the  recruitment of 10 Ph students within the EU-funded PhD program Chrom_rare, which aims to unveil the Chromatin Biology of Rare Genetic Diseases to delineate innovative therapeutic solutions. The project focuses on Chromatinopathies (CPs), a group of rare genetic diseases, which share clinical features as well as causal genetic alterations, leading to the inactivation of chromatin regulators involved in gene expression control and 3D chromatin organization.

The consortium brings together multiple research teams with diverse expertises  in the fields of epigenetics, molecular biology, chromatin biology, genetics, mechanobiology, imaging & microscopy, proteomics and bioinformatics.

In my team at the University of Trento we offer two PhD positions focusing on:
1. Role of Chromatin factors in establishing nuclear mechanical properties
2. Role of chromatin condensates in CPs: from LLPS to molecular dynamics

As part of the MSCA-DN, theis PhD position offers multiple benefits including mobility, advance training programs and competitive salaries. To learn more about it please have a look at the attached documents and visit the official website (https://chromrare.eu/).  If you have specific questions on the program, please contact me directly as I am the Coordinator of the Consortium.
The deadline for the application is the 31st of March 2023.
